Noted Journalist and PUCL award winner MR. Sajan Abraham (42) passed away at Kottayam. He was admitted at the Kottayam Medical College for the past few weeks following illness. Started his career as a cub reporter with the Malayala Manorama, Sajan from Chenganassery, marked his imprint as Senior Reporter at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thrissur and Kannur. His series on the life of Jails fetched him the PUCL award for the best published news feature. Later he left Manorama to join Weblokam.com, the regional language portal of webdunia.com as News Editor. Then he joined Mangalam Daily and had worked as News Editor at their Kottayam and Kochi News Desks. He is succeeded by wife and one son.
